Currently, Shelly has no publications. However, while working as a Public Health Nurse, she had a biweekly column in the local newspaper in which she wrote about healthy living, vaccines, prevention of dehydration, etc. Presentations:

Research Description: 

Shelly has more than 20 years nursing experience in public health, hospitals, private employment, leadership and administration, and nursing education complemented by a Master’s Degree, PhD student work, and roster of certifications. Shelly thrives on learning and optimizing patient, staff, and student experiences. Talented, energetic, and perceptive communicator who creates enthusiasm and improved productivity. She is a self-starting, technically proficient leader who can quickly understand new problems and create solutions. She is an accomplished advocate aiding in client/staff and client/student experience and compliance. She is also Bilingual with extensive experience in multicultural care. Her IGERT research revolves around Smart Home Research & Design and Health-assistive Environments.
