• WSU IDeX (Integrated Design Experience). This project focuses on changes to the design and construction of the built environment that facilitate a sustainable future.
• Institute for Sustainable Designs. Focusing on designing sustainable projects through education, development, inter-disciplinary cooperation, and outreach.
• Sensorweb Research Laboratory Research in the development of "Sensor Web" systems for observations using a variety of distributed resources.
• EECS Research Experiences for Undergrads (REU) Annual summer program that allows undergraduate students to participate in research activity and become familiar with what academic research is like.
